Trends.Design.Production

The Trends.Design.Production exhibition is the largest regular select show of glass and costume jewellery in the Czech Republic and Europe alike, with dozens taking part, this year 80 from eight countries. The aim is to pres- Trends.Design.Production the current face of the industry once every three years, in that the curators do not choose the objects, but the exhibitors themselves. After all, they know best what parts of their production to consider trend, design and production. The role of the curator is important too, however, because it is he or she that is responsible for choosing the participants, selecting active and creative companies or studios and not enterprises that live on the past, commercial entities that present themselves as manufacturers or parasites.
