La Superficie Magica - Czech cut glass in Roma!

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Rome, together with the Czech Center Rome and our museum, is organizing a unique exhibition of Czech cut glass. The artworks will decorate the Sala del Cenacolo in the Vicolo Valdina Complex. The inauguration took place on April 29, 2025, and the exhibition itself will last until May 9, 2025. Allow us to invite you to this unique event taking place in the very heart of Rome.

The Czech Republic is a country whose prosperity has always depended on the invention and craftsmanship of its inhabitants. The symbol of this long tradition is the hand-made production of glass, in which Czech glassmakers are among the world's top. For this reason, and thanks to its diversity, it was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2023, as part of a joint nomination by six European countries.
